Capacity - The Tamalemaker will hold 2 1/4 lbs. of meat and 3 1/2lbs. of masa. Three avalible spout diameters included: The 7/8" cylinder will make 50 four-inch tamales. The 1" cylinder will make 40, and the 1 1/8" cylinder will make 30.The actual cylinder size is 1-1/8" but there are two inserts for the spout which reduce the size to 1" or 7/8" if desired. It takes approximately two minutes to empty the cylinders and approximately two minutes to reload.
